A Quick Look at Numerology and Career
Before we discuss the effects numerology can have on your career, let’s take a brief look at numerology.
At its essence, it’s a belief system that states that numbers hold a magical importance in our lives.
It states that every number has a unique energy that has the power to alter the course of our lives.
These numbers can not only define our characters but can have significant impacts on our life paths and careers.
You can find the roots of numerology spread in various ancient cultures worldwide.
This isn’t any new belief either and stems back to the civilizations of Babylonia and Egypt.
Usually, the focus on Numerology is on the numbers 1 – 9 however several numerology master numbers can also come into play (such as 22, 33, etc.)
The Numerological Code: Numerology and Career
To understand the power numerology has over your career, you have to understand the numerological code, or more specifically, life path numbers.
Every individual has a life path number, and it’s calculated from your date of birth.
This number provides a vision of your life’s journey and even how successful your professional life could turn out.
To calculate your Life path number, first, consider the number of the month you were born in. I was born in February, so that would make that ‘2’.
Next, add the digits (if required) of the date you were born on. For example, in my case, that would be 1+4 = ‘5’.
Finally, add the digits of the year you were born for example (1+9+9+5 = 24). So that makes a total of 2 + 5 + 24 = 31.
Now, add those 2 digits together (3 +1 = 4), and you have your life path number! In my case, it’s the number 4.

My Experience with Numerology and Career
As a life path number 4, my experience with numerology is a fascinating one.
I always have had a keen eye for detail, and my passion for writing has been forever present.
However, I’ve taken on numerous roles in different job spheres because I was searching for the most fulfilling profession.
Over time, I felt drawn towards my writing, and other professions such as management roles began to bore me.
Eventually, I’ve jumped ship and I’m back to the profession that appeals to me the most – writing.
Not only does it give me an intense sense of fulfillment, but it also allows me the opportunity to dig and go into the depth of everything I write about.
Certainly, it’s the perfect career option for me!
